Teresa laid another egg today. They are still small but she’s off to a good start.
So after 24 weeks, one raccoon, one fox, one bobcat and losing 20 of your 35 chickens in various ways you too can have fresh eggs from your own chickens right in your backyard.
There’s nothing to it.
At long last, it has happened. Our first egg. We’ve spent a lot of time wondering if the idea of chickens laying eggs was a myth all around and here we find, no. We’re not positive but we’re pretty sure this was a gift from Teresa.
Chickens do actually lay eggs.
